Connexions Somerset accredited with national Matrix Award
 Connexions Somerset Ltd is celebrating after being awarded a national award for the quality of service it provides.
We provide free and impartial information, advice and guidance to both adults and young people and have been successful in achieving the Matrix award given for quality standards in information, advice and guidance services.
Connexions Somerset, Chief Executive Rachel Bendall said: “We are thrilled we have been reaccredited for the Matrix award.
“It is recognition of all the hard work that is put into providing quality careers information, advice and guidance to young people in Somerset.”
Connexions Somerset Ltd was first awarded Matrix accreditation in 2005 when 12 areas of practice were identified as being excellent.
This time round 18 areas of the services were highlighted as being excellent.
Ms Bendall added:“To have improved the amount of areas highlighted as excellent from 12 -18 and to receive recommendation to go forward for the Excellence Award really pays tribute to the outstanding work which our staff do and service which we offer.”
